CLS to Host Internet Safety Presentation – Innocence Stolen: Protecting our Children Online

Carroll Lutheran School will hold a free multimedia presentation titled “Innocence Stolen: Protecting our Children Online”  to provide information necessary to keep children safe on the internet.  The information will be presented by Mr. Vincent DeVivo, Community Outreach Specialist, United States Attorney’s Office, District of Maryland and former Carroll Lutheran School Parent

The event will be held Monday, December 5th, 2016, at the school Gymnasium at 6pm.  Carroll Lutheran School is located at 1738 Old Taneytown Road, Westminster, Maryland, 21158.

The event is highly recommended for all middle school students, high school students and all parents.  Because of the mature nature of some of the content, it is suggested that children below 6th grade attend only at the discretion of parents.  Topics covered will include social networking, cyber bullying, sexting and internet predators. The program provides prevention and intervention strategies and internet safety resources.

The event is open to the public.

The event is free, however, if you plan to attend, or if you have questions, please contact the school at 410.848.1050 or email [email protected]
