Thank You to Mrs. Brozik for the Black-Eyed Susan Celebration.

Dear Mrs. Brozik,

On behalf of the students, staff, and parents of Carroll Lutheran School, Iextend my sincere appreciation for your willingness to organize and implement the Black-Eyed Susan Program for our students.

You went “above and beyond” to create a celebration that included media center decorations, a luncheon for students and their families, book discussions, certificates, and gifts for the students.   It was an outstanding opportunity for the students!

The following students were recognized for their participation:

Read all 10 books

Glenn Durboraw
Sophie Gilbart

Read at least 3 books

Kallie Gilbart
Alyssa Meyers
Coley Ross
Caroline Sewell
Cole Tate
Chase Wagner
Abbi Yaider
Ellie Yaider

Joyce, thank you for having the students vote on their favorite Black-Eyed Susan books. Students in grades sixth through eighth selected Far Far Away as their favorite book and the fifth grade students selected This Journal Belongs to Ratchet. I know you submitted their nominations to the State. Icannot wait to see the statewide favorite Black-Eyed Susan books later on this month.

Again, Joyce, thank you.  Well done, good and faithful servant.
